a true being

What she saw was new and familiar at the same time. This is me? Golden hair as bright as a risen sunset upon a field of wheat waterfalled down her nude body in an unbrushed, bouncy waves that stopped just above her thin waist. The female's golden eyes glinted in the bright white light of the bathroom, their honeyed luminous matching in sync with the bountiful strands on her head. Her eyes scanned the peach-tinted skin of her reflection. There were scars all across her frail body; branding symbols and gashes, these white lines of imprinting decorated her lean frame. She was shocked at what she saw. Reaching a hand up to the middle of her chest she followed the motion in the mirror before resting her palm at her sternum. Her delicate fingers lightly touched at the protruding black diamond that was embedded in her chest. A gem that must have been forced into her skin for a reason she didn't know. The feeling of it didn't cause her pain or discomfort, but the sight was most peculiar to look at. However, nothing was more gasp-worthy than her vulpine extremities.

The girl's hand was more shaky now as she made a grasp up to touch the slender fox ears upon her head. They lightly flicked against the touch and she began to breath deeply in confusion. She was amazed with herself and what she was, fear also starting to sway in her thought. I.. I don't understa-. She cut herself off looking down at the voluminous tail that began to flick behind her with her rapid thinking. A giggly laugh erupted from her as she stroked at the matching extremity, overwhelmed and trying to process all this unknown information. Feeling faint she began to stumble backwards but suddenly she felt a brick wall behind her, quickly turning she noticed it was her male friend. He looked down at her with concern, understanding perhaps she had not known what she looked like. The golden fox girl swallowed hard and took a step back, her mind fuzzy with what to do with herself.

"I am Drakari Tygeran." his voice had brought her back to reality and her tail ceased twitching behind her in thought. "You may address me as Lord Drakari or just Lord." He cleared his throat, his voice becoming slightly louder. "I am of the Royals of Stadalania. Our people have natural energy within our beings that can be converted to magic using The Tentiga. The Tentiga is our book of spells, which gives us the gift to use Tenti Skills."

Her sunshine filled gaze was unblinking as she stared at him, collecting the information he just stated. Fox ears began to turn back with a sudden feel of nervousness with the importance he was telling her. There was a pause were they both stood still, giving her a moment to cross her arms over her exposed breasts as she stood defensively.

Drakari then continued with a raise of his left eyebrow. "You must not remember who you are. When I found you; your body was laid unconscious in the snow. It is unfortunate that you only speak your native language because I am not that fluent yet, but if Feitin is all you speak then we will make it work, kirita."

"Do not call me that." She snapped, "My annoyance is reaching it's peak."

The shocked look on his face was so surprising it was almost scary. Suddenly she was also stunned and backed up slightly starting to feel a sharp pain course through her body, the feeling was terrifyingly familiar as she clutched hard to her frail body in fear as she began to groan aloud. The female's skin paled with an evil sickness or disease that quickly coursed through her. Her captor acted quick as he grabbed her wrists and put them above her head with one of his large hands. Drakari's face was very serious as he raised his opposite hand, a thick black cloud swirled around his fingers as he mumbled unidentified words under his breath. He swiftly pressed his palm into her chest and she screamed in agony. His hand felt like it was burning her flesh and suddenly she realized he actually was. Drakari's palm laid over the black crystal and within seconds black lines emerged from the gem, spreading like spilled ink across paper. The thick lines traveled down and under her breasts and just above her waist, a most intricate design almost like the wrought iron of gates.

She trashed around in his grasp, shrieking for her life as he pressed his hand harder against her skin, she watched as his veins pulsed against his forearms. Tears streamed from her face, however they weren't the usual clear; they were a deep maroon of blood, dripping down her face and onto her collarbones. The piece of diamond at her center oozing the same pigment. Then like a strike of lighting the pain was gone and as he released his hold on her she started to descend towards the floor. She watched as Drakari followed her, catching her just before her vision blackened once more.
